Boydiviner's Perennial Fu for Love

Love Talisman for Selena in Cancer

Posted on January 14, 2018

According to Benebell’s Birth Chart Monograph for me (I paid for it, just FYI), I found that the White Moon Selena was in Cancer at the time I was born.  She mentioned that I would be someone who would be able to care for others, and this will be something important in my life. White Moon Selena represents what has stemmed from my karma, and the monograph showed me that I can be both a nurturer and a protector.

Because of the other aspects in my chart and my inherent personality, I never really saw myself that way. I’ve always been headstrong and a little selfish. Knowing this aspect of myself, I now have a stronger drive to push myself towards protecting my loved ones and at the same time, learning to be compassionate to all, including people whom I may consider enemies.

Bodhisattva Guan Yin being one of my patron deities has been a strong influence in my life that has guided me towards this. Since Selena is entering, or has entered, Cancer by now in 2018, I decided to work on a Perennial Fu to cultivate the energy of love, with Guan Yin Pusa’s help. It is based on the Chinese word 爱 (hanyupinyin: ai), which loosely translated as love.

Boydiviner's Love Talisman

This Perennial Fu encompasses romance, general love and brotherhood. There are a few ways how I am planning to use this talisman.

1. Metta; Loving-Kindness

This year, I hope to be more compassionate; I am planning to use this Fu to generate energy for Metta. Whether it is to charge an item with the power of Metta or to simply gather that energy to imbue in myself, I believe the grid of glyphs will be able to help with my endeavor.

2. Romance

I believe that this grid also can be used for romantic hopes as well. I am not particularly looking for something like this in 2018, but I believe it may come in handy for others.

3. Strengthen Relationships

Any relationship can always do with a bit more love and I think by directing the energy of the grid to a relationship, or to a person you share a relationship with, will be able to help you maintain and improve such a partnership.

Without further ado, you can find here a PDF version of the grid that I’ve created for sharing. You can use this however you like 🙂 but some guidelines is to stamp or sign your practitioner’s name in the final space on the bottom right. How I would charge this grid is to chant the Bodhisattva Guan Yin’s name (I would say namoguanshiyingpusa), along with some verawood mala beads. If you have any questions on this, please feel free to comment and I’ll do my best to respond! <3

That is a really gorgeous perennial Fu. I’ve been toying with the idea of doing one myself after also reading about them on Benebell’s book. How did you find the experience of making all those sigils? Calm? Exhausting?

It was honestly quite tiring because I did it all at one go and there can be times where you feel at a loss for the next sigil. I also took care to make sure none of the sigils look too similar. In the end, it is a very rewarding experience, and I recommend you to give it a go. Please share it when you’re done 🙂 I’ll be excited to see haha
