I Ching – Remembering the Trigrams and their images

Categories I Ching, The Craft

When I divined with the I Ching, casting my coins and yarrow stalks to create the hexagrams, I used to take a while before being able to match the trigrams to the concepts in the chart e.g. 3 Yin Lines to “Earth”. However, after a while and some research online, I realised that the concept of yin and yang helped me identify the trigrams much more easily. I would be able to see the trigram and immediately identify the natural concept that they correspond with. I made a video and I hope this would be helpful for people who would like to understand how the trigrams relate to their iconography!
